For each of our results, related BIM content can be downloaded.

The BIM content is available in Revit, ArchiCad and IFC file format.

  • Download Revit content
If you have downloaded the Specific Material or Specific Material Product to use in your Revit model, you will notice that you have downloaded a .rvt-file. This is because of the fact that our content is provided as Revit System Families. You can use the Specific Material or Specific Material Product into your model in two ways:
    • Transfer Project Standards
You can use the Revit System Family in your Revit model by opening the downloaded .rvt-file in the same Revit-window as your current model. Through "Transfer Project Standards" you can push the Revit System Family from the downloaded .rvt-file to your own model .rvt-file.

    • Copy/Paste
You can use the Revit System Family in your Revit model by opening the downloaded .rvt-file in the same Revit-window as your current model with Copy/Paste.
      • Click on the desired System Family in the downloaded .rvt-file
      • Use the command copy or CTRL+C
      • Go to your own model and place the copied System Family by using the command paste or CTRL+V

  • Download IFC content
If you have downloaded the Specific Material or Specific Material Product to use in your IFC model, you will notice that you have downloaded a .ifc-file. You can place the Specific Material or Specific Material Product in your IFC model by linking or importing it into your model.

  • Download Archicad content
If you have downloaded the Specific Material or Specific Material Product to use in your Archicad model, you will notice that you have downloaded two .xml-files:

The first one represents the Specific Material or Specific Material Product. The second one consists of the specific Wienerberger properties that need to be added to your Archicad model before loading the SM or SMp.

You can use the Specific Material or Specific Material Product in your Archicad model as follows:
    • First, load the Properties.xml file in your Archicad model with the Properties Manager.

    • Second, you can load the SM or SMp .xml file into your Archicad model through the Attribute Manager

Note: Depending on the selected language (and therefore selected content annexe), the language of the BIM content can be different.
