1. Open/create Revit project

  2. Download Plugin from https://interalu.thorbiq.io/ and install it for Revit

  3. Go to the plugin-tab "Interalu" in Revit and choose the "Interalu" button which will direct you to the Interalu BIM Application Suite.

  4. In the Solution Selector, select the Interalu Ceiling System you want, by using the filters, and load it into your Revit project.
    WARNING: If you choose the option to "Download" the selected ceiling (f.e. if you don't use the Interalu Plugin), instead of selecting "Load in Revit" or "Load and Place in Revit", please remember to copy the content of the folder "Textures" (added to the downloaded folder) to the folder in the following path: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\ThorbiQ.bundle\framework\images or remember to add new path for image of Interalu material

  5. Draw the ceiling in Revit

  6. To render the ceiling detail, please follow the 4 points below. If you wish to render a perspective of the room, please go straight to step 7.
    1. Pick the room in which you have drawn the ceiling and choose "Selection Box" from the Ribbon "Modify/Rooms"
    2. Revit will automatically shift into a new view - {3D}. Change the name of the view to e.g. "Render 01" and freely modify the Section Box
    3. Select the "Render"-tool " from the Ribbon "View";
      tick the "Region" checkbox and change the selected region freely;
      change the quality settings into "High";
      set the Resolution to "Printer" and change the value to 600 DPI;
      now start rendering by clicking "Render"
    4. When the rendering is finished choose "Save to a Project" or "Export".
  7. To render a perspective, please follow the 4 points below.
    1. Go to the floor plan of your choice and select the tool "Scope Box" from the Ribbon "View" and draw a rectangle around the area you want to show in the Camera View.
    2. Now you can place the Camera freely, Revit will automatically go to the new view. In the "Properties" window, please choose the "Scope Box" you have drawn before.
    3. Select the tool "Render" from the Ribbon "View";
      change the quality settings into "High";
      set the Resolution to "Printer" and change the value to 300 DPI;
      now start rendering by clicking "Render"
    4. When the rendering is finished choose "Save to a Project" or "Export".
