ThorbiQ

Many of our manufactures has a Download button at the Downloader panel on the manufacturer's tab.

The function on the manufacturer ribbon downloads the data of the used (here Tolemail) elements in the current project. With used elements we mean placed objects, wall types, floor types, ceiling types,.. but also materials (in case of a manufacturer that provides materials (for example Foamglas). A used material is a material that is part of a layer inside a wall type (or floor type, or ceiling type,...) which is used in the project. So it’s not enough that the element is loaded into you project, it also has the be placed, used in that project.

To use this function, you first have to be signed in. 

When you have some elements in selection, the data of those elements can be downloaded. If you don’t have anything in selection, the data of all used elements can be downloaded.

By pressing the “download” button you’ll see following screen.

Select which categories you want to download and the location where you want to download it to (here C:\ThorbiQ\Tolemail). You can also indicate whether you want to create an overview of downloads (Create result overview).

Press Save to save the data to the specified location.

Following popup is shown:

When you go to the directory you’ll see that the data is saved to your location and structured in several folders according the categories:

When you open the “result overview” file in Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc, Google Docs or other .csv Application, you’ll see the relation between the downloaded files and the elements in your project. 

In this example you see that the “MYKRO-NI-LED-1T-NL.pdf” in the ‘Technische Fiche’ Folder belongs to the element: “BERSnl_63_LF_FB_armatuur_gen_witas : mykro ni 60t - 1000lm_tolemail_mykro ni led_lxbxh 568x93x66”.

“N/A” stands for “Not Applicable”, the information for that element doesn’t exist so it can not be downloaded. 

Using the “Download” button on the ThorbiQ panel in the “Add-inns” tab is the same as described above.

Advantage by using the "Download" button on the ThorbiQ panel instead, is that all ThorbiQ elements with a download functionality are processed. You don’t even have to install the specific suite.

Note: At the moment only Jaga, Foamglas, Iko and Tolemail have the download functionality.
