With ThorbiQ you can Load an object directly into you project without saving the family first to your hard drive.

In order to Load an object into your current Revit project you should be connected and go to the Online Application Suite (see previous article). Loading an object is only applicable for Cloud Application Suites that provide Objects (for example Jaga, Techbim. Daikin,...)

Find the correct element at the Cloud Application Suite by using the filters and select the desired result(s).

When hovering over a result you can press this button  to load the element directly into your project. Go to your revit project and a popup appear. At this moment the Family Type of your selected result is loaded into your project.

To create an instance of the loaded Family Type use the project browser to find the correct family (here RSen_56_ME_FB_radiator - dbe_jaga) and right click on the Type (here strw.05028021.001/dbe - sandblast gray - fine texture metallic_jaga_strada_lxhxd 2802x500x221) and select “create instance”.

It’s also possible to load multiple result into your project by selecting multiple result in the Online Application and press the “load” button on top.

Another useful function is the “Load And place” button  on the selected result in the Online Application. This function also load the element into your project and the loaded element ‘hangs’ directly on your mouse so you don’t have to find it in the project browser in Revit. You can directly place the selected result into your model. This function is only applicable when there is one result selected.

“Load” or “Load and place” an element are features from the ThorbiQ Framework and can be used for all suites. When you have for example installed the Interalu plugin you can load an element from the Tolemail Online Application Suite without having the Tolemail plugin installed.
