When there is an update available of your installed ThorbiQ plugin, you will get a notification when you try to connect with the Cloud Application Suite.
You can choose between two update options:
The "Update now & Restart" option
- This shut down your Revit Application (if there are any unsaved documents you are able to save them) and your the Revit Application will restart automatically.
- After the Reboot of Revit the updates are installed properly.
The "Update after closing Revit" option
- The updates are installed at the moment you decide to shut down Revit.
- In the meantime you can connect to the Online Application Suite and use the plugin/Revit without any problems.
- Check the "Remember decision" checkbox if you don't want to be notified for future Updates. So future updates will always be installed "silently" without any notification.
- Go to the Settings button on the ThorbiQ panel at the Add-Ins Tab to change this behaviour.
Press "Apply" to apply your choice
Press "Skip for now" if you don't want your plugin to be updated
- You can only press the "Skip for now" button once. The second time when you restart Revit you are obligated to select an update option.
When the updates are succesfully installed you will see following popup message when starting up Revit the first time after the update:
You can change your update setting by going to Addins>ThorbiQ Panel > Settings
